cammando Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I love Farve, but he has got to let go of his hatred of the Packers..
MJAlltheWay24 Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I am very sick of him and I feel like he is completely losing his prestiege.
00Rocket28 Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 No, I'm not sick of him at all, he doesn't want to stick it to the Packers or the Packers fans, but the Packers GM. They didn't want him last year, but jerked him around and blocked him from going to a true contender to try and force him to stay retired. I hope he goes to the Vikes and wins a Super Bowl and spanks the Packers twice. Let him go out on his own terms
Baseballguy Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 One of my all time favorites, but he's starting to change my views, I voted yes.
hoopsr1 Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Collin Cowherd said it best. Stay in Louisiana, play with your dog while wearing your wrangler jeans and throw some balls in the backyard. Just another example of one in the limelight that can't give it up.
Ram Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Nope. Not at all. He is a football player, and plays the game in the manner that it should be played. He is not on TV running his mouth, he does not bad mouth people, he just goes out and plays the best of his ability every game. I wish there were more Brett Favres in the game. Most of the retirement talk comes from people other then Brett Favre, every time he says that he is going to wait until the off season to decide if he is going to play, everyone automatically assumes that he will not be back. Then someone offers him a contract, he takes it, and everyone takes shots at him. He is a football player, let him play. He is still one of the best QB's to play the game, even at 40. As long as they keep paying him and he is not worse then anyone else, why shouldn't he. He is a football player.

spindoc Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Not sick of him. Still in the upper half of QB's sadly in the league.

Now if he can't get his throwing arm healthy again, then yeah he should just stay done. However he is healthy again, then the guy can still play. He showed that last year. The main thing is just the media makes a big deal out of it and talks about it way to much. However if he is healthy then he should still play because he can still be one of the better QB's in the NFL.

The man is 150 years old, there's not much chance for him to stay healthy. It's time to give it up.
