April 30, 200917 yr Cutcliffe didn't want him on the team. He had to look elsewhere. He's not perceived as good enough to play quarterback at Duke, perhaps one of the two worst BCS programs right now. Of course he's perfect for Syracuse!

Duke is improving, and have all 3 of their top QB's back. Thaddeus Lewis is not a bad QB. He completed 62% of his passes last year for 15 TD's against only 6 INT. It would be hard for a guy that had been out of football for 4 years to come in and start over a guy who has been the man at a school for 2+ years. So there is a reason Cutcliffe didn't need Paulus. They may not be a BCS contender but they are getting better, even if it is slowly. At Syracuse you have a team that won 3 games, and has a RS frosh as the QB. Easier path to getting to play, which is what Paulus should look for.
May 9, 200917 yr Wow, that is amazing. It must be nice to go play for one of the top basketball programs in the country, then get to transfer out and play at a Big East football program. Well if it was the SEC, then we could say he was doing something.:ylsuper:
May 19, 200917 yr Been a long time since he dawned the pads. Can he handle the speed of the game? It's a whole heck of a lot faster since he last strapped it up!!
