April 16, 200917 yr The program is already down, I don't think they have any room to be trying Coach K's PG. at QB.
April 16, 200917 yr I guess this gives NEW meaning to that tired old cliche: "The Point Guard is the QB of the team." I guess it's just in reverse now.
April 16, 200917 yr May be a dumb question, but didnt Paulus play for four years at Duke, how does he have eligibility?
April 16, 200917 yr It doesn't take all college qb's 2-3 years to develop. There are plenty of true freshmen that play qb right away in college. It's not hurting anything to see if he can do it, or to see if he is willing to put in the work to be a good qb. Plenty? Very few. It is the exception. Let me rephrase. It takes 99% of HS QBs 2-3 years to develop in to a college QB. Off the top of my head, Stafford, Mustain were true Freshman when they started... and that was a portion in to their Freshman seasons. They were not anywhere near good QB material their Freshman season. Again, I am rooting for Paulus, I just have a hard time seeing it happen. I hope I am wrong. Edited April 16, 200917 yr by bugatti
April 16, 200917 yr I never understood how someone could pull for two different teams in any sport...Doesn't make sense.
April 16, 200917 yr May be a dumb question, but didnt Paulus play for four years at Duke, how does he have eligibility? In any sport, you have five years (starting from initial enrollment) to play four ... Paulus has one more of his five years left, and he's never played football, so he can play one year of football.
April 16, 200917 yr Atta Boy Rich Rod ! Being an Ohio State fan, I think that I am going to like this. Wonder how this plays out with the recruits he brought in at QB when he goes out and finds a one hit wonder.
April 16, 200917 yr I never understood how someone could pull for two different teams in any sport...Doesn't make sense. Why?
April 17, 200917 yr Why? Why what? You are from Kentucky. You cheer for Kentucky. How can you also cheer for Michigan? Why? How could someone cheer for Magoffin County High School and Paintsville High School at the same time??
April 17, 200917 yr Wonder how this plays out with the recruits he brought in at QB when he goes out and finds a one hit wonder. His best QB recruit is going to be a HS sr. next year( Devin Gardner). He has freshmen Qbs for this year as well. Tate Forcier is already on campus and will propably start. He was a top 15 QB nationaly and Denard Robinson who is an electrifying athlete. I am just not sure Robinson is a college qb. He will propably wind up as a db.

April 17, 200917 yr Why what? You are from Kentucky. You cheer for Kentucky. How can you also cheer for Michigan? Why? How could someone cheer for Magoffin County High School and Paintsville High School at the same time?? Am I allowed to cheer for Morehead State (since I graduated from there)?
April 17, 200917 yr I never understood how someone could pull for two different teams in any sport...Doesn't make sense. I don't see why not. I call it being a fan of college football (or whatever the sport) in general. I am an Ohio State football fan but I also pull for U.K. as well along with a couple of others that I like and tend to pull for when they play (unless it is vs. OSU or U.K.). Also, another favorite is whoever may be playing Tennessee on any given day.
