Good luck. I went to Wrigley a few years back (by myself actually) and it was a cool experience. I am probably not the best at offering advice because I think I got ripped off on my ticket

I've been when I was younger. Awesome experience. Can't really offer any advice regarding tickets or the Wrigleyville bars, however, the one piece of advice that I can give is DO NOT try to drive to the game. Parking is scare if available at all. Just take the red line train their is a stop about 1 block from the field. Very easy, very cheap.

Very true. I guess that would technically be my only advice. I was a good distance from Wrigley but the rail service is accessible to the entire city, and obviously to Wrigley.

Yes, and I loved it. I would love to go back soon.

Go to Cubby Bears and High Tops right over by the field before the game they were both fun. We went to Harry Carrey's after the game but one of their legendary broadcasters died in there before we got there. We couldn't figure out why everybody was so gloom until we saw the news that night. It was a good place though.

Wrigley is an AWESOME experience!

When I was young I lived in Chicago and went to Cub games often, I even got lost inside the stadium once when I was five! Haven't been since I have been an adult (which my wife says han't been that long)!

There is a bus from Cincy to Chicago for less than $10 a ticket (I believe it is called MegaBus) if you book it early enough.

I've been there, too. Dodgers Pitcher Chan Ho Park gave up 8 runs in the first inning and got a standing ovation

I go 3 or 4 times a year. It really is awesome. I get all my tickets on Ebay, I advise if you know when you're going trying and get your tickets WAY ahead of time, like 2 months or more if you can, because no one is really thinking that far ahead. I do that when my aunt can't get them for facevalue from her friends up there. The only way to see a game there is in the Left Field bleachers. There are tons of bars around the neighborhood, it truly is awesome! I love going to the Cubby Bear and there's an Irish Pub (the name is on the tip of my tongue right now) thats near the first station outside of leftfield. It really is an experience like no other ballpark. I'm actually taking my first trip of the year on May 1st.

2nd son lives two blocks away. I'm trying to get some tickets to see the White Sox/Yanks. I'll try to get some info like eating nearby and parking for you. His name is Bartman..Stevie

We went to Wrigly Field several years ago. I think we bought our tickets on line in advance. Once you get to Chicago, you cant go wrong with places to go. Are you taking kids or is it adults? Makes a big difference what you would do.

We took the subway to the game which is part of the fun, and the easiest way to go IMO.

Gotta get some of that Chicago style pizza!

Are all bleacher seats first come first serve as far as seating? We were talking about getting bleacher and if all the general admission let you sit where you want out there that would be perfect for our whole group to sit together.

Yes, all but far right field:thumb:

Cubs tickets are pretty much sold out forever. They can be pricey and difficult to get together.

I've never done it but I've had folks recommend http://www.wrigleyfieldrooftopclub.com/ I'm assuming it's fairly pricey to but looks like fun, and you can deffinitely get your whole group.

As far as travel we usually take Interstate 90 to the 63rd street exit. Park at the train station and take the Red Line to Addison. Park is right there.
