April 15, 200917 yr I was in Chicago for a convention back in late 90's. Me and my brother took a cab ride to Wrigley and walked up to the ticket window and said we want 2 of the best available seats. When we got to our seats, they where 1st. row right behind home plate. We both called our wifes to look for us on WGN. In between innings the ump would come back and talked to us. A memory we both will never forget. This happened before Sammy Sosa came, and I assume tickets where easy to get.

Had 4th row seats right by the right foul pole. I was dressed in all Reds' gear. Nobody gave me any problems. I'll be going back again this year.

April 15, 200917 yr We went to Murphy's before the game. And after the game. Good times. It's so close an Adam Dunn HR could potentially fly over the bar. The Reds lost. The whole place was singing "Go Cubbsss Goooo" except for 1 guy. I was singing "Go Redsss Goooo".
April 15, 200917 yr Here I am! Yes, we usually go to a couple of games a year. We usually get our tickets on the day they go on sale--it can be difficult otherwise. You can stay pretty much anywhere in the city, the Red El goes straight to Wrigley. We like to sit in the left field bleachers--but it can be pretty rough out there if you are taking kids. I'm not sure what you mean by "group"--like others said it can be almost impossible to get a big group of tickets without paying through the nose. It will help tremendously if you are flexible with your dates and opposing team. If you want to watch the Cubs-Cards, then forget it. As far as what to do and see in Chicago, pretty much whatever you want! It's an incredible city and the food, shops, culture, museums, etc are all fantastic. It is one of my very favorite places to visit.

Bleachers are first come first serve, so you can piece together tickets on ebay or stub hub easily. Also, no you won't get killed, my best friend is a Card fan and last year we were in the left field bleachers in a Cubs/Cards game and he was rocking a Willie McGee jersey and he gave Soriano several hand gestures letting him know he thought he was "number 1" :lol:
