April 14, 200917 yr I'm talking about at FSN. It's been a big problem on the UC side and it is all a switcher problem at FSN... Got ya. That makes sense. I was too worried with all of the potential jokes with the "Don't get me started with Insight" comment.
April 14, 200917 yr Don't get me started with Insight... The cable company, that is. No way I'm going to make it that easy for you... How in the world could this be Insight's fault?
April 14, 200917 yr How in the world could this be Insight's fault? It's not, it's FSN's. That's been established. I'm just frustrated with Insight, in general. I suppose that I was just expecting this to be their fault too. My mistake.
April 14, 200917 yr It's not, it's FSN's. That's been established. I'm just frustrated with Insight, in general. I suppose that I was just expecting this to be their fault too. My mistake. Yeah, like others have said, this is a FSN problem that hasn't been fixed. Pretty sad that some folks watch from the first pitch on and then something like this continues to happen.
April 14, 200917 yr Well, that was a good game, and I assume a good ending. I had to switch over to mlb.tv gameday audio (can't get the actual Reds games as they are blacked out, if anyone knows how to get around that please let me know) to hear the end. Glad Coco closed the door, nice job fighting back from 5-1. I believe that puts the Reds at .500, right?
April 14, 200917 yr How is the Volquez trade looking now? Looking great. Hamilton is only hitting .269 with 1 Hr. Seriously, are you really going to say the trade was bad based on two starts from Volquez this year?
April 14, 200917 yr Was it the Reds or Brewers coverage? I was watching it in the bedroom, when it switched off, I went to the family room, and dish network had switched also. It was the Reds coverage that was on the alternate channel. I wasn't real happy until I decided to look around to find it. I too remembered that the same thing happened w/ the UC game.
April 14, 200917 yr How is the Volquez trade looking now? Best trade the Reds have made in the last couple of years.:thumb:
April 14, 200917 yr Best trade the Reds have made in the last couple of years.:thumb: Absolutely. Reds traded Hamilton for Volquez & Hererra. I like them both. I think the Dunn trade was solid as well. Get a solid arm & a solid bat in Micah Owings, a good, young utility player in Wilkin Castillo, and one more player who I can't remember. Add that to the fact that Dunn wasn't going to be a Red the following season, and it's an even better trade.
April 14, 200917 yr The Dunn trade was good. The player your thinking of is Dallas Buck, who could also pan out to be pretty good.
April 14, 200917 yr Statement from FS Ohio "FOX Sports Ohio would like to sincerely apologize to the viewers, as well as to the Reds, for the technical mishap that resulted in our transmission being interrupted just prior to the end of the last night's game. The network experienced a very unfortunate switching error, which occurred at our transmission center in New York. FOX Sports Ohio produces as many as 145 Reds games each season, and we take great pride in the production quality and expertise that we bring to each telecast, which makes this situation very disappointing. We will review the telecast circumstances to minimize the possibility of a reoccurrence." Henry Ford, Senior Vice President and General Manager, FOX Sports Ohio
April 14, 200917 yr Pretty much the exact statement they made several times regarding the UC mishaps...
