April 13, 200917 yr Remember the good ol' days when Charlton trucked Scioscia, Browning wouldn't be hesitant to knock a guy down, or even a few years ago when Dunn got plunked after taking out Lieberthal and then he and Casey charged the mound? I say its time for this current team and leadership to get a lesson in history and they can use this recent event to show that teams do play with fire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IFY-XHFoJA&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fboston%2Ebarstoolsports%2Ecom%2F&feature=player_embedded

The problem is, who? Votto already dodged the catcher once (at his own expense). Maybe he'll truck the catcher next time? I think the only options are Phillips, Bruce or Edwin. No way Alex Gonzalez, Hairston or Taveras do it.

April 14, 200917 yr Volquez strugging early on against the Brewers. He would have got out unscathed in the 1st, but failed to cover first in time, and missed out on an inning ending double play, and the Brewers scored one run. Bruce tied it in the top of the 2nd with his first homer of the year, but Volquez has allowed a hit, and a walk to start the 2nd.
April 14, 200917 yr Its early in the year but if Volquez regresses Reds are going nowhere. Brutal road trip might put the Reds in a deep hole. Gallardo with a 4 run lead is not good for tonight.
April 14, 200917 yr My 2nd year owning Gallardo I have never seen him pitch this bad...Reds gotta take advantage.
