I've been waiting on somebody to get this year started. I guess nobody else is interested.

Wily Mo was released by the Nationals. You can already see the effects of Bowden being out of office. Who will be the next ex-Red to go?

Chances the game actually gets played today? I'd say it's not looking good.

I heard it's just cold, but with no precipitation at the time. Are you in the Cincy area? I hate Opening Day rain outs. :irked:

Light rain falling now here in Newport. Nothing that would rain the game out though...

What about snow...

Here's hoping that they get it started today.:jump:

Game time pushed back to 1:20.

Did they get the game under way?

Yep. Both teams get two runners on in the 1st, but go scoreless.

I already don't like Hernandez's arm behind the plate.

Can someone explain to #55 that the runner is stealing 2nd from 1st base and not 3rd base.

Gonzo with a big play, feels good to see a defensive ss out there. Hope he stays healthy.

If Gonzo can be here healthy all year. I think he will have alot to do with more wins than losses for the year.
