March 31, 200917 yr 7th best job, available or period? Period, I might be inclined to agree. Available, well, I don't know about that. I don't know if I'd agree Arizona is the 12th best job available either.
March 31, 200917 yr Kentucky is a #1 or #2 as a program. The job is about as desirable as the president of the United States. Great program, not so great job.

March 31, 200917 yr I guess they could be as low as a 7. I couldn't follow the link, do they have a list?

March 31, 200917 yr I would like to know who the 6 other schools or "jobs" are and why? Not saying UK isn't 7th, but like to know the others and why.

March 31, 200917 yr One of the big negatives is the current down trend in talent. Can't argue with that.

March 31, 200917 yr Kentucky is a #1 or #2 as a program. The job is about as desirable as the president of the United States. Great program, not so great job. For once we can agree. It is an amazingly stressful job where sometimes you can never be right. Like the president it takes a certain someone to succeed or even want it. I have always said (half-jokingly) that UK basketball is the hardest job in the nation, while UK football is the easiest.
March 31, 200917 yr One of the big negatives is the current down trend in talent. Can't argue with that. True, but one of the positives is the $$$. Can't argue with that. I would kiss the feet of boosters for the amount they are offering to Calipari.
March 31, 200917 yr #1 or #2 program through history. How many kids, outside of KY, know or care about the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and most of the 80's. I would think top 10 since 92. Again, it seems that the only school allowed to trumpet their storied past is UK. Any other school brings it up its the past. If UK brings it up its part of the program. How would you rank schools from 1990 to 2009?
