I think he would have beat SC in Rupp, too. That would be 25.

Ricky P would have defeated VMI. I have no doubt about it.

He would have defeated Georgia at home on Senior Night. No doubt about it.

That's 24 wins right there.

So you're now saying the great Rick P would have won 2 more than BCG?

I pointed out the 2 obvious ones. He would have won several more AND they'd be in the NCAA Tournament, as well.

Rick's teams lost to WKU, UNLV (without their best player, as has been thrown in my face. :D), and (inexplicably) to this same Notre Dame team. What makes you think all would be sunshine and roses if you had a different coach.

Players have to play. He can't be blamed for not rebounding, for not passing well, for turnovers, for stupid fouls. Those are all on the players.

Because in this case we are supporting the same team...:D

Ricky P lost to UNLV and we didn't so he wouldn't have beat them with our bunch.

For some reason, I've somehow become the staunch supporter of Rich Brooks, and now BCG. :ohbrother: And I'm not even a UK fan!:idunno:

I think about 14 of the 16 coaches in the NCAA Sweet 16 could have taken over this Kentucky team in the summer and won 25+ games with them. That's my opinion. It is also my opinion that this is the most disappointing team that I can remember. I even enjoyed the 1989 team more than this one - and I listed to their entire schedule on radio that season.

Will be interesting to hear the BCG Post Game Show Tonight!

If he shows up.

All of it? They've got two players that are consistently good. No, he's not a good coach, but it's not ALL on him.

It's been two years. UK is about to make a huge mistake.

I agree 100%, BG is NOT the one turning the ball over ect! Porter needs to head back to Cali tonight and give up playing D-1.

You have a very good recruiting class coming in, only Billy's second real recruiting class, but three all together, throw in his good PGs in the next year a fee nice players with size, Hood, and Pilgram playing, next years team will be much better! If Billy goes it will set the program back even further.

Ricky P also won 30 games and an overall number one seed. There's no debate, IMO - Pitino can coach circles around Gillispie.

Let's all blame Rockmom!:D

JK!
