Of the seniors graduating from Elliott Co. who has been offered scholarships and where are they going? Also, did any KY schools offer like Morehead, Eastern, etc?

Scott Co. isn't the rumor I heard. Unfortunately.

I have been hearing rumors about Knipp leaving for a long time now. I am sure his family will make a decision that is best for them on what to do, whether they stay at Elliott or go to Clark Co, Scott Co, LexCath, Rose Hill, etc.

Really? I don't think it is a lack of enthusiasm as much as it is just his personality. He seems to be just a laid back, shy kid. Trust me, I think next year you will see a big difference in him. I don't think anyone in the 16th is even close to as good as T.Knipp for next year, and this is coming from a "SO-CALLED ELLIOTT BASHER".

 

We hope to see a difference in him. Would love to see as many Eastern KY kids make Division I as possible. The unfortunate thing is I have seen many of kids over the years, have tremendous ability and size at a young age, then not grow and other kids catch up athletically. I could name many that this has happened to. As I said before there are kids in the same region that are almost as good at this point, that potentially might excel at a higher level, but Knipp has his future in his hands and has a oppurtunity to go far.

I agree, but the reason I believe has not developed a more tenacious attitude is that he has always been the fifth wheel and had to play with Ethan and Evan Faulkner, both of which are tremendous floor generals, Jonathan Ferguson who is the leading scorer in 16th region history and his older brother Chris.

 

I think now that the focus will be on him, he will be the go to guy, and will develop the leadership skills that come with that type of responsibility. Having talked to Timmy, he is a very nice, quiet young man and should make the transition to being in the spotlight nicely IMO. I think he could end up being what many thought Dakotah Euton would be, but even better. Tyler Zeller-esque.

I just don't understand the fascination of everybody picking up and going to Scott Co.

Without all their transfers, their mediocre at best. If all these players would stay home, most of them would be beating Scott Co. It's just a version of an "allstar" team from around the state. And, if they're going there for the exposure, look at Richie Phares. He's a top rated player in the state with the Scott Co. exposure and all it got him was a walk on position at Louisville. I know Richie is actually from Scott Co., but for the others it hardly seems worth a family picking up and moving across the state for ( if they really even do that or maybe that's just what is said to make he paperwork "legit").It just doesn't make sense to me ???:confused:

Having the Toyota Plant in your backyard helps. One call and anyone can get a job in exchange for their child attending school would be my best guess.

I don't know if I would call the Scott program mediocre. They have a nice program and players or no one would be wanting to tranfer there.

Someone needs to start a preseason poll for the 16th....I would say Elliott will be mid pack or higher if TKnipp returns....

I see Knipp leaving which will hurt them even worse. Elliot will struggle for sure.

That is what I was thinking. Their coach has done a whale of a job IMO. They will be tough.
