March 18, 200917 yr Jason, I said "Bama is lookin forward to seeing him this fall". What does Bama have returning next year? I know they lose John Parker Wilson and Andre Smith. I know they had a dang good recruiting class coming in this year. Will they repeat as West Champs or will Lsu take it away from them?
March 18, 200917 yr I am actually rooting for Tiffin, I think this shows he is a good recruiter whether you like his methods, or not. His methods are no different than probably the best recruiter in the country in Pete Carroll.
March 18, 200917 yr The whole Bryce Brown situation is pathetic. His "mentorship" with Brian Butler, started last season when Bryce's brother, Arthur was the top defensive prospect in the country. Arthur committed to Miami, and then so did Bryce, as he said it was a dream to play with his brother. He remained a commit all season, but after the US. Army All-American game Butler finally convinced him to fully shop himself around and not to sign anywhere on national signing day and to hold off until March 16th. Randy Shannon, the coach at Miami, sent Bryce a LOI on signing day, and told him that he had until it expired (i think you have like 15 days to sign it after it is issued) to remain a Cane. Brown remained true to his word and didn't sign anywhere until the other day, while Randy Shannon didn't issue a second letter of intent and pretty much gave up on Brown. As a Canes fan, it is dissapointing to lose such a highly regarded prospect, especially when he was a commit for over a year and his brother is on our team. But, he is trouble from the day he steps onto campus, IMO. With Butler being investigated and all, don't be surprised if Kiffen goes under the microscope. Look for more of the same soap opera next year, as highly touted Blake Bell is from Kansas and is being "represented" by Butler.

April 10, 200917 yr With Kiffin it is going to be one of two extremes. Either he is going to make "rocky top" a title contender once again in the next few years, or he is going to get their program humiliated by teams like Bama, LSU, not to mention the 80 sum points the Gators will put on them this season. -GO Canes!!!!! The "U" will be back!!
