Vols land #1 player in the nation

I feel bad for the Tennessee football program, as they are probably going to be on probation before too long IMO. Kiffin has already had 2 slip-ups I think, and Bryce Brown could end up getting him a third violation and possibly probation. Brown had his two offers from Miami and Oregon rescinded, and LSU backed off as well. I am not doubting Brown's talent, what I am worried about for the kid is his High School football coach-I cannot think of his name-but he is the one that brokered this deal to Tennessee, which was not even on Brown's list of schools before Kiffin got there. But his High School coach is bad news, he runs a website that gives "inside" information on Kansas High School Football recruits, but you have pay a fee to read the informaiton on the site. He is already being investigated by the NCAA for his involvment with Bryce Brown, so for the sake of a prominent football program in the University of Tennessee, I hope they do not receive any sanctions.

BTW, I am a Florida Gator fan.

What was the Make and Model of the SUV, I was good friends with his brother and I am just curious?

I have no clue. I had friends who played for UK they told me that story.

You would've told an 18 year old kid that if he didn't come to UT he'd end up pumping gas?

No I wouldn't have said that but I would have riled up all of the other coaches in the Sec. It is either going to hurt him or help him. Does this kid play this year or is he a senior nobody has answered that question for me.

What a joke Kiffin is...:sssh:

It does not matter how many of these top rated guys he gets, he still says some VERY stupid things.

Maybe they gave him a new SUV just like UK gave Tim Couch when he signed with UK back in 95.

You have any proof to back this statement up, or are you just throwing out rumors?

Its not his coach. His coach is unhappy about the situation. The kid hooked up with some "trainer" who is known to tell a few stories.

I told you I had friends who played football at UK so you can call it what you want. Just like the rumors that Kiffin told the kid that if he went to South Carolina he would be pumping gas.

Huge pickup for UT. I hope to see them have success this year, I actually like Kiffin.

Yep, because when you have ZERO Division I coaching wins and you've been FIRED from your only head coaching job it is a good idea to tick off Urban Meyer, Les Miles, Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier and Mark Richt, among others.....Those guys don't know anything, go ahead bully them, that should work out well.

Joe thanks for telling me that I'm not a D1 coach. Dang it I really thought I was a D1 coach. Thanks for ruining my dream!:laugh:

Nobody has still answered my question when this kid will play for UT. Is it this year or next year?

If you are referring to Bryce, he is a senior in High School right now and will enroll in the fall, assuming his grades are up to snuff. So to answer your question, yes, he'll be in a Vols uniform next season

The NCAA is investigating Brown's adviser.
