Elliott by a dozen, too much big game experience to lose to a good Anderson County team.

I think Elliott County will win as long as they're focused on Anderson County and not looking ahead to a rematch with Shelby Valley or a showdown with Holmes or cutting the nets down on Saturday night.

 

If they aren't focused, their dreams might get crushed early because they barely beat Anderson County on a neutral court the first time around.

I'll take Elliott by 3 in a Thursday night thriller!

Elliott County by 12. I think they will come out on a mission and get it done.

Voted for Elliott by mistake. I think Anderson will win this one. Rematch of a game that they feel like they could have and should have won. Pulling for Elliott but going to take Anderson.

I say Anderson get's caught like a deer in the headlights. Making it to Rupp for the first time can make a team nervous.

I think Elliott will handle them easily, by 10-18 pts.

Holmes was my favorite until last night..I think Elliott will cut the nets down at Rupp..

Nice rematch. I'll have to go with Elliott 73-70.

Both teams come from weak regions this year. EC will prevail and could win big if they shoot well from 3-ville. I don't see a particularly close game here.

Some things to consider about the 1st matchup. Elliott was down at halftime by 12 points after shooting 30% while AC shot around 60%. AC outrebounded Elliott 46-27 in the 1st game. Will AC outrebound Elliott in game 2. Yes, but not by 19 rebounds, probably 5 or 6 rebounds. Having seen 30 Elliott games this year the first half ranks up there with the 1st 3 quarters against Cedar Hill and the 1st quarter against Shelby Valley as their worst perfomances.

 

For the game, AC shot 50% and Elliott 36%. For the game to be close AC has to hope for these same numbers. I don't see anything near these numbers happening in game #2. Especially after the way Elliott played in February with double digit wins over Ballard and Mason. Therefore Elliott will win 85-69. In the loss, CJ Penny will finish his outstanding career with 30 points.
