April 3, 200917 yr I have stated my opinion just like you have. How is what I am doing any different than what your doing. Maybe you should take your own advice on that. I seem to remember someone having to PM me having to argue with me since I had an opinion different than theirs. So I am going to end this right here, because I don't like where this is going, and could result in both of us not being on here anymore and I don't want that. Just got to learn just because I don't agree with you and state my opinions, doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion on things. I just think I am right and you are wrong , but who doesn't think that about their own opinions, that is why they are called opinions. :thumb: Both players are great and you couldn't go wrong with either one of them two as MVP this year. Which is should be one of the two and Kobe is a distant third this year when it comes to MVP. True on a lot of accounts. But, my PM was about you calling for my response to something you said. I PM'd you to tell you that I had responded. Anyways, MY MVP. 1. LBJ 2. DWade 3. Kobe 4. CP3 5. Deron Williams
April 11, 200917 yr LeBron James deserves to be MVP. D-Wade deserves to be MVP. Kobe Bryant deserves to be MVP. The same argument can be made for all three of them. If you take all 3 off of their teams, then their team will fail miserably. Kobe has a better supporting cast than either of the 2. D-Wade is the Miami Heat team and he has stepped his defense up to a level it has never been before. The 2 block shots against the Pistons a couple of Sundays ago was the first time I have seen a superstar win a game with his defense and not the game winning shot. Kobe is the best player in the world, period. But what LeBron has done in Cleveland has to be recognized. For every year he has been there, Cleveland has gotten better every year. Cleveland now has the best record in the NBA and if they win out they will have homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs. LeBron is essentially averaging 28,7,7 and we still haven't seen the best of LeBron. LeBron not winning the MVP would be a travesty, IMO, because the season he is having and the season the Cavs are having are all because of LeBron, the 2008-9 NBA MVP. It's all for naught though, because if I get my wish, Kobe and the Shaq-less Lakers will win the title over LeBron and the Cavs. Last year's MVP lost out to a greater team and I expect the same thing to happen again this year.
April 11, 200917 yr His team has lost one game at home so far and they have the best record in the NBA. This is a no-brainer, IMO. Lebron. He is the closest thing to the Big O and playing all facets of the game since the Big O.

April 11, 200917 yr It just seems about time Lebron starts winning all of these. With a decent team around him he will consistently be at the top of the league in wins and his statistics will always be deserving. Not to mention he takes over games in so many different ways. This will be the first of many...

April 14, 200917 yr ESPN has a poll going right now. It is basically LeBron 60%, D Wade 25%, and Kobe 15% for MVP.
April 14, 200917 yr ESPN has a poll going right now. It is basically LeBron 60%, D Wade 25%, and Kobe 15% for MVP.I would say that is pretty fair.
April 14, 200917 yr Lebron is the only choice for MVP. The ESPN experts voted him as their MVP...he got 17 of 18 first place votes. He should be close to unanimous.
April 17, 200917 yr By royal decree, King James ends MVP debate http://www.cbssports.com/nba/story/11633172 So, enough. The MVP trophy is the greatest individual honor, and it goes to the individual player who had the best season. It's the argument that never ends. What does MVP mean? It's time to stop it. It's not that hard. Pretty simple. That's why the MVP ballot I'm submitting to the NBA by 3 p.m. ET Thursday looks like this: 1. LeBron James 2. Dwyane Wade 3. Kobe Bryant 4. Chris Paul 5. Dwight Howard
April 17, 200917 yr It would be Sac-religious to give the MVP to anyone other than LeBron!! Sacreligious may be a bit much. I was just thinking stupid.
