April 2, 200917 yr For the record I would have voted for LeBron the last two years as well. He has elevated the Cavs since they have been there. Sure if you take DWade off the Heat they aren't in the playoffs, but thats the same for Chris Paul, Deron Williams and others. If you put LeBron on the Heat they are a top three team in the East and a threat to win the Eastern Conference. Remember what he did with the Cavs a few years ago? The Cavs really aren't that good personel wise, they just fit LeBron's game well. Mo Williams is very good, but he's not an All-Star without LeBron. Before you argue that, look at his career. He didn't sniff an All-Star game and most probably hadn't even heard of him. I think DWade is a ball hog. He has passed more this year, but alot of it is out of necessity. And what I said was when you watch him in person you really come away thinking that. How many times have you watched DWade with the Heat? I would guess not once. LeBron's assist numbers are down because he plays with two other PG type players in his lineup, and they still aren't really behind DWade. Also, how many times does LBJ not even play in the 4th? The Cavs have the best record in the league because of LeBron. They would still most likely be in the playoffs without him, but only because they are in the East and they certainly wouldn't have been there before Mo. As far as me leading the Heat to the playoffs how is that funny? Have you seen me play? Heck, I could be DWade for all you know. So I had this nice long post, and decided to delete it. The part I bolded tells me everything I need to know, because you honestly have no idea how much I have watched WAde and its just funny that you said that. By the way how much sense does it make that you say that a guy is passing more this year out of necessity, when that guy in Wade is scoring this year more than he has any other year. So yeah good point. :sssh::lol: I am just going to end it here, because I have gone down this road with you in another thread and its kind of a waste of my time to even argue it. By the way the main reason I think you think that about Wade, is cause since he tore our UK team up in the elite 8. You don't want to like him, or give him credit for anything because of that. Kind of sounds like a former coach we use to discuss. :walk:
April 2, 200917 yr Good post. :thumb: And as far as PG's I have to stick with Chris Paul( Williams is right there too) as my top guy, he makes things happen and is #5 in my MVP race. :thumb:

NBA teams do try to defend Wade, LeBron, Kobe than they would say a Bruce Bowen or Travis Outlaw. Double teams force him to pass, not just this year. Honestly, the game against UK doesn't bother me, you can't hate a great player for having a great game against your team:ohbrother:. I like DWade actually. I just think that LBJ is more valuable. And we go into this on every thread. I think you just jump in and shoot down my ideas. I don't care though, it's no big deal. I think as much of your opinions and you do mine obviously. Everything is funny to you. You know everything thing and I know nothing. Did I criticize you? No. I gave my honest assessment. I probably watch atleast 10 NBA games a year and have seen most of the players I think are good in the NBA. (haven't seen CP3 yet, I will have to do that.) What I was saying is watching it live, just as with any other sport, gives you a totally different feel for how players play. I don't think anyone can dispute that. As for how much you've seen DWade it was an assumption. I would assume you don't live in an NBA city, so you probably don't watch much NBA ball live. I don't know you may travel to Indy, Cleveland, Chicago or anywhere else everynight for all I know. I'm ASSUMING MOST people on this board live in KY, or possibly WV or Cincinnati, for a few months out of the year I don't live here but in large cities because of my job (soon to be in Miami-"WADE" County actually). Maybe I'm wrong in assuming this.:idunno: Your points are no more valid than mine. You stick with the coaches, teams, and players you like best and so do I. No need in slinging mud or making personal attacks when you brought yourself into an argument with me.:puke: Ask 100 people who the MVP is and most will tell you LeBron. He does play on a better team, but to think that LBJ has nothing to do with that his laughable in its own right. If you think DWade is the MVP fine, but me, and most importantly the people voting probably do not.
April 2, 200917 yr LeBron is probably will win it, and rightfully should. For those that think Mo Williams honestly makes for a 15 game swing in the win column, he probably makes for 5-8 of those wins, but it begins and ends with LeBron James. He has gotten exponentially better every year he has been in the league and is the reason the Cavaliers are the favorite to win the NBA Title. Throw your one-sided statistics out there for Dwyane Wade or Kobe Bryant, the one that matters the most to me is the Win-Loss one. And before you say "Well, D-Wade was hurt last season, why do you think the Heat were so poor?" Don't, because that happens to any and every team that has their best player go down. Yes Dwyane Wade is reason Numero Uno that the Heat are in the playoff race, but even so, they are 39-36 for sixth place in the East. 39-36 in the West and you're already packing it up. D-Wade is an excellent NBA player, a future Hall of Famer and the third best player in the league, but he isn't better than Kobe Bryant or LeBron James and he doesn't deserve the MVP over James this season.

I guess what I say just flies right by you. I have already admitted that Lebron will end up winning it. Which is fine with me. Also please show me where I have said that Lebron has nothing to do with his team being where they are? Please point that out to me. You began by saying how what happens if you take Lebron off the team, and I said they probably still a playoff team in the east, but obviously they be a one of the lower playoff seeds. If you take Wade off the Heat, then they still don't even make it in the bad east. If you put Lebron on the Heat team instead of Wade, and then the Heat are still basically where they are not, cause Lebron would basically put up the same number. If you put Wade on the Cavs, then the Cavs are still probably the one seed, or atleast a top 3 team still. The Cleveland team is a great DEFENSIVE team, and they have a guy in Lebron who they can give it to so they score points. It would be same way if Wade was on the team. If you a great defensive team, and have a great offensive player who will help out on the offensive end, then your team is going to make a lot of noise. Your comments about Wade are funny though, just because your like the first person I have ever heard say that. I mean Wade just like the other stars in the NBA force shots just like everyone else, Lebron does to. So I really just didn't get that whole thing by you. I have no problem with Lebron winning it, I mean if he wins it he would deserve it. I have never said he wouldn't deserve it. However if you have read what I have said, my whole point in this argument is because of what people were saying three and four years ago when we had these same arguments. I was arguing that Wade was the better player, cause he led his team to a championship and best player on that championship team. The majority of thePeople argued with me, and said no Lebron was because he was doing more with less. So that shows people thought by doing more with less, made a person a better player. So my point on all of this is now people are going against the argument they used before, when the situation is the exact same except now its opposite for the two. So by going by that argument people should be saying Wade because he is donig more with less. If you have read my comments, you would have gotten what I been saying by now. Both are great players, and Lebron probably will win it. However if Wade did get it, it would be because he also deserved it with his play.

You never get anything I say so why bother to go through all this. You stated you think DWade should win it, but LeBron will win it. Good for you. I think LeBron got robbed two years ago, and I think he is the most valuable this year. I'm a huge LeBron fan, but alot of people tend to agree that he is the MVP. I have never used any of the arguments that you were talking about for not voting for a player for MVP. There's nothing to argue about. We aren't on 1st and 10 or PTI. State your opinion and leave everyone else alone, because you can't seem to understand what people are saying when they don't agree with you. As for Cavs being a great defensive team, I guess LBJ plays no defense? I think most would put him, Dwade and Kobe in the top handful of overall defenders in the league. And I think If you traded the two of them, the Heat would be better than the Cavs. LeBron makes his teammates better more quickly than DWade does. For example, Mo Williams was a very nice player, but once he teams with LeBron he has the season of his career. How many can say that about any of the other players in question?
April 2, 200917 yr Dwyane definately deserves to win the MVP. LeBron has good players around him and so does Kobe. Dwyane has one (Jermaine O'Neil) and you might through Beasley in there but Wade is carrying his team on his back. So D-Wade deserves it. IMO. Jermaine is busted imo
April 2, 200917 yr Jermaine is busted imo I think that is something everyone can agree on. J-O'Neal isn't what he used to be thats for sure.

I seem to remember someone having to PM me having to argue with me since I had an opinion different than theirs. So I am going to end this right here, because I don't like where this is going, and could result in both of us not being on here anymore and I don't want that. Just got to learn just because I don't agree with you and state my opinions, doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion on things. I just think I am right and you are wrong , but who doesn't think that about their own opinions, that is why they are called opinions. :thumb: Both players are great and you couldn't go wrong with either one of them two as MVP this year. Which is should be one of the two and Kobe is a distant third this year when it comes to MVP.
