TJ to Seattle

Didn't say I don't blame him...

I agree. :thumb:

You said Seattle is a place you wouldn't want to go. Seriously? I've been to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest a few times. It's awesome.

I go with the old rule if you dont want to be here then go on. I am a TJ fan as well as a Bengal fan. I dont think we would get as much out of him if he was here and didnt want to be. Hopefully younger guys will step up and maybe now they have no choice but to either step up or step out!

He's certainly worth it now, but $8M will be an awful lot to be paying TJ when he is 36 years old.

I was guessing Minnesota, where they are closer to winning.

I would agree, I would bet he is not on the roster with out a pay cut in 5 years.

I don't think we will hear much about TJ anymore...he will get lost out there in Seattle.

He'll be released before then. Also he's a pretty young 31, he only played in 28 games, with 6 starts his first 3 years in the league. His production was very good this season considering who he had throwing him the ball. Anyone the Bengals plug into his spot will be a downgrade. But, they probably did the right thing by not spending that much on him when they aren't close to contending.

Saw this one coming. TJ didn't even want to visit the Vikings yesterday but he did to honor his word, and of course no one really wants to be a part of the situation in Cincinatti right now, so it was pretty obvious Seattle would be TJ's destination. West coast guy going back to the west coast, makes sense to me.

I don't like the move by Cincy or TJ. TJ had talked too NY,Philly+Minn. Every one of those teams are close to being Super Bowl ready. Sea is going the opposite direction IMO.

Cincy might go get Coles now. They had better get a RB right now! If they mess around and don't get one it will set them back IMO. Benson was in Houston today. I say sign him + D. Ward. That is a solid 1-2 punch.

Not my style sorry.

He leaves Bengal-doom but I don't know if Seattle is that much better right now. Hopefully he gets a shot at a winner before he hangs it up.

I'n not convinced that Seattle is a upgrade over Cincy... :idunno:

It definatley isn't a downgrade, at worst it is a lateral move--to one of the worst divisions in football. If wouldn't take much of a move up to win the division and it is a MUCH, MUCH better ran orginization.
