March 3, 200917 yr You said Seattle is a place you wouldn't want to go. Seriously? I've been to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest a few times. It's awesome. Seattle wouldn't be a place I would want to go, if I am basing my decision on wanting to win. I mean its sad to say, but the Bengals have a better chance to winning starting next year than Seattle. That team has even more problems to fix than the Bengals do. I would have either stayed with the Bengals or went to Minnesota.
March 3, 200917 yr It definatley isn't a downgrade, at worst it is a lateral move--to one of the worst divisions in football. If wouldn't take much of a move up to win the division and it is a MUCH, MUCH better ran orginization. I can agree with these statements. :thumb:

They play the Super Bowl champs and the AFC runner up twice each just in their division.
March 3, 200917 yr :dancingpa This opens up more options with the #4 pick than just Crabtree... They can start filling other holes now with that pick if they feel it necessary. I love this move.
March 3, 200917 yr I don't think we will hear much about TJ anymore...he will get lost out there in Seattle. For some reason I don't think he cares about the attention. He wanted to ensure a long term deal. He cared about money and winning. Since he's going to Seattle as opposed to Minneapolis, I'm guessing that money was more important. I don't blame him.
March 3, 200917 yr I would agree, I would bet he is not on the roster with out a pay cut in 5 years. :thumb: Regardless of what the contract actually says, NFL deals are typically 2-3 year contracts in reality. Pretty much everyone is aware that there's a probable chance the last years of the deal are renegotiated of the player gets cut...the guaranteed money is all that really matters. The signing bonus is the main thing. Typical NFL deals include a big signing bonus, smaller salary in the early years with huge, unrealistic salaries on the back end that never come to fruition.
