I don't agree with it, but this is a SINGING competition, and Adam is by far the best singer in the competition. Simon even said so last night. So many people don't like him because of his lifestyle, and that may end up keeping him from winning.
May 14, 200917 yr His sexuality doesn't mean anything at all to me... If it did, I wouldn't have a Queen CD in my CD player right now... If he doesn't win, it doesn't necessarily mean people don't vote for him because of his assumed sexuality -- The favorites rarely win this thing.

I think if he gets the boot next week it is because of his high pitch squeal. I CANNOT STAND IT!!! I love when he sings ballads, but I can't stand when he gets screaming. Kris won my fan favorite over last night when he did Heartless. Thats was my favorite performance by anyone this year by a mile.
May 14, 200917 yr I just don't like Adam... His high pitch squeal irks me. Go Kris! Simon said in the top 36 that Adam will have pople that love him or hate him, this seems true to me.
May 14, 200917 yr Adam and Kris in the final ought to be a great matchup. If I were Danny, I would want to beat the crap out of Paula Abdul for picking the WORST possible song imaginable last night. Personally, I think it really hurt his chances.
May 14, 200917 yr I want to say that I still think Adam is the favorite to win it, as bad as I hate to say it... But I just don't think he's "real", and that's why I can't cheer for him. How is he not "real?"
May 14, 200917 yr How is he not "real?" He just comes across as fake to me... Wanting to be this type of character and I just don't think it's him. I could be wrong, but that's how he strikes me.
May 14, 200917 yr Well, I am hoping Kris wins this thing! I am sad that Danny is gone but he is going to be just fine. The AI contestant that I have picked from the beginning of each year as my favorite has done pretty well except for Reuben. Not all of my picks have won, but most have made a good name for themselves.......like Daughtry. Maybe Danny can keep my streak alive.
May 14, 200917 yr I know that Adam is the favorite, and while he has (IMHO), the best pure voice they have had on Idol, ... I am pulling for Kris. I like his style, his ability to rework songs into his style and his attitude. I can see what kind of album Kris would make and would buy it. As far as Adam, I am really not sure what kind of album he would make. But his voice is remarkable. I do think he overdoes it at times, but there is no denying his God given ability and vocal range. I liked David Cook last year, but think his debut album was not very original. Every song that I have heard so far, sounds nearly the same to me and it sounded too much like he was trying to shoot for radio airplay instead of just writing songs that really speak. I liked Daughtry a few years ago and was surprised when he was voted off, but his debut album actually had his own signature all over it. It didn't come off as someone just trying to find singles to release. It just sounded more genuine to me.
