February 26, 200917 yr Did anyone ?do? the blonde girl that sang tonight? :notworthy: huh what eh????
February 27, 200917 yr Adam was by FAR the best performer tonight imo. It seems to me this contest is over.
February 27, 200917 yr I thought Wednesday night was the WORST american idol episode ever! It is simply amazing to me that after all the past seasons they still pick awful songs! I swear the show sets them up to look like idiots on the front end!
February 27, 200917 yr Why don't the judges pick the songs for them? I'm tired of hearing them complain about that, just judge them on their voices. Allison and Adam, one of those will win it all, guarantee it.

Allison and Adam, one of those will win it all, guarantee it. Because they are looking for a recording artists, not just a singer. The judges won't be there to hold their hand through a career and say "sing this" "Don't sing that." It's part of being a musician. As for Allison and Adam being the class of the competition... Did you watch last week? Danny and Alexis were both very good. And Michael wasn't bad either. I think as a group of 3 last week blows this week away, though I did think that Allison this week was good and has potential to get a whole lot better.

Allison and Adam, one of those will win it all, guarantee it.I agree! It shouldn't be about song choice. I guess some of them are so close in talent that they can't think of any other way to distinguish one from another. I think the guy with black hair that looks like Elvis (Was that Adam?) was far above the rest of this week's group. I've thought he was the best from his very first audition.

February 27, 200917 yr I'm a fan of the guy with the glasses to be honest.I like him too. But I think the other guy is going to end up winning it...unless someone better comes out of this last group. Next week should be interesting. The legally blind guy will be in that group. I'm hoping he does well.

February 28, 200917 yr I discuss American Idol every week with a group of friends and here our my thoughts from last week: I am finally watching it. Most of the people are crappy. These are the only two performances I even minded. 1. Allison - Easily the best tonight and the best of either group. Not close, she was exponentially better than anyone else (including last week). 2. Megan Joy Corkrey - I love the jazzy voice. The song was ok, it sounded good compared to everyone else. As far as everyone else goes...they blew. Adam BUTCHERED one of the Stones greatest songs. I have no idea why the judges thought that was good. That being said, he gets through because as my step sister said, "he's pretty" and she is part of the most prolific voting block. I would say all three of those get through...if they don't, it further solidifies America's collective stupidity. Though if it was up to me...I'd send Matt the Piano Player through, because he nailed Ray Charles in Hollywood week. (All of this was wrote before I knew who got through) Allison is singing on the results show right now. Her performance is so much better than any of the other 23 who have already went. Wow, Chris Allen got through! High school girls shouldn't be allowed to vote...at least his Hollywood performance was bearable. This has nothing to do with the competition, but it is cool to see Brooke White again. If she didn't pull a real Munson, she would've won last year. That being said...she sold out and that song is crap. And to think..I THOUGHT she would write/sing/play good songs. At this point in the show...I don't think there is any doubt that Adam is going through, which sucks...while Megan wasn't great by any means, she has a lot of potential (yep, no surprise he is through). The final 12 is shaping up to be really bad. Next week has some of my least favorite ones (except Lil Rounds), so I'm hoping some good people get back in during wild card week ( By this, I mean Anoop ) or I may be giving up this year quicker than I did last year.

That being said, he gets through because as my step sister said, "he's pretty" and she is part of the most prolific voting block.Have to disagree with your assessment there. Adam was easily the most talented performer so far. Allison was good also, and deserved "Top 3" status out of her group. But I think her age and inexperience will get the best of her. I too am hoping Megan gets brought back in the final 12.
March 1, 200917 yr I liked Adam's version of the Stones. Nothing is more boring than someone to sing the song exactly like the original. The 16 year old girl is crazy good but I think Adam is the only one that has a chance at recording success.
