I live that soapbox. You obviously would never understand such things. This is the kind of attitude that people with diabilities find so incredibly frustrating.

If people didn't like him, he wouldn't have been there. And anything you can say about him can and should be said about ALL of the contestants. I'm sure you'll come back with the same points, but it won't change the truth of the matter.

Ahh, yes. The classic response of "you wouldn't understand."

I say the guy can't sing and you respond with "this kind of attitude that people with disabilities find so incredibly frustrating." How should I state my belief that he's a hack without frustrating people with disabilities?

IMO this guy kept going because of people voting for him because either a)he was strong on the piano or b)he was blind and we as a country always throw support to those with challenges. It surely wasn't because he was one of the better vocalists. Zero chance of that being the reason. I actually felt bad for him having to go up against people that can truly sing.

Anyways, he is finally gone and the competition can move on with talented singers.
I agree with this. It's time to move on. :thumb:

Btw, I downloaded the studio versions of Lambert's "Mad World" and Gokey's "What Hurts the Most" to my iPod this morning. Both are great!

Jeez. :ohbrother:

On to next week! :thumb:

Flo Rida is huge.... I'd hate to be the rabbit that crosses his posse.

It was Scott's time, and to be frank, I'm glad that Simon stepped up and said no, instead of going with whatever two judges said he should stay (my guess would be the two female judges)

Also, just a tidbit, did anyone else catch when he said he wouldn't know if he was better last night or not until he watches the tape?

As for the rest of the competition, Adam is by far the best singer, but I just don't think he will win

Following his strong performances after his disasterous country week, Lambert has emerged as the clear favorite.

IF there's an AI version of an "October surprise" that pops up it could cost him votes. There are videos and pics out there that would distrub some voters.

If voters vote purely on talent, we're only debating who comes in 2nd.

I caught that. Thought it was maybe a jest at himself.

Scott is not totally blind. He has very limited tunnel vision in one eye.

I personally don't see any of the contestants being very sucessful.

What kind? Feel free to take it to PM if you need to.

He can sing. However, he can't sing nearly as well as the top performers in this competition and it was time for him to go home.

There's this new thing called "google."

Search under "news" and enter "adam lambert."

I know, but I'm at work and scared of what the search might bring up.
