Beechwood 63 Covington Catholic 56

The game was amazing but as far as student sections went, Beechwood's, "Just like football", was funny. CCH didn't have anything to cheer back. But Beuttel made it happen for the Tigers tonight, leading their comeback when down by 9. Also Romes had a nice dunk in the first quarter right in front of the CCH student section.

As I posted in the update thread: Congrats to Beechwood and good luck to them against Holmes.

Strangest season in my long memory for CovCath as they had far to much sickness and too many injuries to deal with. I just wonder what could have been..... but it just wasn't in the cards....

Did I miss the Holmes, Holy Cross game?

I think we all did. I heard they're just going to go ahead and play the finals tomorrow of Holmes vs. Beechwood tomorrow since HC has no chance according to most people.

Romes can dunk?

Congrats to Beechwood. Tough year for CovCath in FB and BB as well.

Romes can dunk?

Did you mean for that to be an exclamation point instead of a question mark?

No...I was really asking. I haven't seem him play too many times. I'll take that as a yes?

Give the kid credit. It was a nice one. Some can only do when no defender is around and they get their feet set. He got a steal and took it home with a defender right on him.

Impressive.

Kid can get up for his size. Can't wait to see him and the rest of BW VS Holmes since they have apparently already played.

OK. To answer your question, Romes can dunk it just about any way you want. He has serious hops.

I'll have to go friday and watch him. Should be an exciting warm up if they are playing Holmes.

I couldn't believe he threw it down. He was leading the pack but with two guys right on his heels. He elevated quickly and really got up on that one. It was pretty awesome to see in person. I was impressed.

The warmups will be very entertaining for sure. Romes always throws down a few. So does Snyder for Beechwood. Then on the Holmes end of the floor, well ... we all know what they can do.
