I'll have to go friday and watch him. Should be an exciting warm up if they are playing holmes.

Not for Holmes. They haven't been dunking since like the first couple games of the year. I heard it was because of a technical they got for dunking with the refs out but am not 100% on that maybe someone can confirm. Their warmups are pretty boring now.

Hmmm...interesting. Perhaps their reputation preceeds them and the refs hit the floor early just to catch them.

Well then, I guess Romes will be the star of warm ups.:thumb:

I think it's safe to say he'll win the pregame dunk contest. Although, Elijah usually still kind of lightly one hand dunks them while they do layups.

BTW There were tons of open seats at HC tonight. I still don't understand what the big deal is about it being too small. It was an awesome atmosphere but there were still plenty of seats available.

Good job Tigers :thumb: See ya Tuesday

The game was amazing but as far as student sections went, Beechwood's, "Just like football", was funny.

There is always a chant like this at any game. Funny but not clever to say the least.

Do they have seating on both sides of the floor at Holy Cross? I was watching on HC TV and the one side of the floor they showed on screen looked pretty packed. I couldn't see the side of the floor where the camera was set up.

There is another set of "VIP" type seats across the gym that are reserved during the season. I'm not sure how they were using those tonight. It seemed like a lot of the players from Holmes and HC sat there. Both corners of the gym were wide open. Put it this way.... There was noone in danger of getting locked out tonight at that game.

What, seats available?

Where were all those grade school kids taking all the seats that EZ Living keeps telling us about?

Kid can get up for his size. Can't wait to see him and the rest of BW VS Holmes since they have apparently already played.

Give the kid credit. It was a nice one. Some can only do when no defender is around and they get their feet set. He got a steal and took it home with a defender right on him.

Impressive.

OK. To answer your question, Romes can dunk it just about any way you want. He has serious hops.

I couldn't believe he threw it down. He was leading the pack but with two guys right on his heels. He elevated quickly and really got up on that one. It was pretty awesome to see in person. I was impressed.

A certain CCH fan that I was speaking with during the game told me Romes' dunk was nothing special....considering there's been 4 people on here say it was pretty impressive, I'll take your guys word for it over theirs. :thumb:

As for the game, congrats to the Tigers on the W. I've said all year long they were the second best team in the 35th and they proved they were the better team tonight, despite what some people think. They showed a lot of character being able to come back from 9 down. Give Beuttel some credit for hitting those big shots. Whoever wins the Holmes/HC game tomorrow night, will be in for a battle come Friday night.

I wouldn't say the dunk was as impressive as the unexpected nature of it. It was pretty normal; not like he hammered it but it was just exciting because I didn't expect him to do it at all.
