Cov. Cath. was heading this direction in the 1st half. Maschinot hit the shot depicted in this photo.

 

Maschinot's 4th quarter drive was a bang-bang play, very much contested. His shot at the rim came as the result of the ability to create and penetrate.

 

I originally thought the same but I think its incorrect. The shot he made in the 1st half had more people contesting the shot. Add in that I know exactly where the photographer was sitting and it tells me its not the 4th qtr miss.

 

If it had been the 1st half shot Connor would have been right in front of the photographer.

I'm not sure how black was picked for this particular evening but the wearing of the same colored shirt is very popular now with student bodies or fans in general. You'll often see the "white out" where every person wears a white shirt.

Awww the poor kid. Yes the layup would have cut it to two, but at the same time, there were much bigger problems for CovCath last night than one missed layup after a GREAT defensive play. Us shooting 3's when we're UP by 9 was incredible..:ohbrother:

 

I agree that was really when momentum shifted, but I thought the bigger hurt was the failure to box out on two consecutive missed front ends by Beechwood, who converted both, and the failure to even pay attention on the in bounds play giving them a free lay-up. Our guys just didn't play well underneath for a couple stretches

I would like to know why you think this. Your answer makes no sense. Since when does a theme mean your going to win? It means there going to "black out" the competition. Shows unity and spirit, just like any other theme.

It is just what I heard at the the game so calm down.
