While it's not a total victory for our side, and is somewhat unfortunate that sponsors had to pony up some money to appease the SMG, the bottom line is that the public and our fans will be served.

My feeling all along was that with NKU and the Bank of Kentucky coming under intense pressure from us, the media, and legistalors, that they were bound to crack. I guess we will never know.

Thanks to Griffin Industries and St. E's Sports Medicine for allowing the fine traditions of both regions to live on!

I wonder if the two sponsors had to pay the reported $10,000 that the broadcast rights were offered to the 9th & 10th for.

:thumb: Well said Mustang. We can all now relax and look forward to a truly awesome event in a beautiful arena.

No one should be surprised about Griffin Industries stepping up to the plate. I have known Bob Griffin for most of my life and he is probably the most generous person that I have ever met.

I just want to confirm that Danny Weddle will be able to broadcast each and every game over WFTM? Please confirm for me, thanks.

 

I will be there on Sat. 2/7 for all four games, but will be unable to make the rest of the tournament due to work. But, if I can't be there to see it live, there is no better than listening to Mr. Weddle.
