I can see them not allowing TV broadcasts, BUT RADIO!?!?!?

If it's their live broadcast I can see why. Not so if it's tape delay, but im pretty sure it's for the live TV broadcasts.

Insight Communication (local cable company) has inquired about the possibility of showing/broadcasting the Semi-Finals and the Finals of the Ninth and Tenth Region games but they were told it would cost them now get this $10,000.00 yep you read it correctly Ten Thousands Dollars.
This would be nice for everyone to have. Is there a rule against posting it for all BGP to see?

I am checking on it...if it OK, I will post it.

No, no rule, post it.

No reason to get nasty and put down an entire region of the state!!! Get creative, call and email the BOK, have others do the same. I am pretty sure with enough bad PR they will decide to change their minds.

Lived in Ft. Mitchell(Mitchell Park apartments) for a couple of years. Its great for the Reds,Bengals and UC, just not the 10th region. NKU should have never been considered for this tournament

I sent the link in a PM for approval to post, so it will be posted in here if it is ok to post it.

I disagree with you on this, as the rotation it's CCHS's district's turn, it's just a couple of miles more. I am looking forward in watching both 9th/10th region biys tourneys.

I am sure this will change, someone wasn't thinking, and about the of the bad PR.

Why not?

I just e-mailed mine in.

After I emailed that link to you I called and emailed. On the phone call you have to wait just over a minute to leave the message. Call and call often, have everyone in your families and your friends call and email too, the more complaints the better the chances they see it's a bad idea.

This is a shame! This is high school basketball, not the NBA. What about those fans who aren't physically able to attend, but still follow on the radio? In our athlete's case, they have a 96 year old great grand-parent who listens to every game. If this is happens, this would be an terrible thing to do, just to get more $$$.

Good policy for BGP. Just means more people will be checking here for updates.

I don't get the impression that this will effect very many people in the 9th region.

I hope this is just a rumor. If its not, then I guess this will be the one and only time that the BOK will host.

You've got to be kidding. Do you think people from Mt. Sterling and Winchester (providing their teams make the tournament) are going to drive 90 minutes for 1st round games? I highly doubt it. Just like Scott and Campbell Co. didn't travel for the 1st round games last year.
