From Northern Kentucky on up into Ohio, a different world from the rest of Kentucky, people will find out when they go to the regional tournament this year

Am begging 10th region fans, officials, etc. to please bring this thing back to The Fieldhouse each and every year where things are simple and the 10th region is the 10th region, could care less about the 9th region. If anything kick Campbell County,Scott and other extreme Northern Kentucky teams into the 9th region and combine the 10th and 16th together in one building for the regional tournament. More people in the 10th region follow or know more about the 16th region teams than ever know about the 9th.

Montgomery Co. did a nice job too and it should be rotated...not just the Fieldhouse.

The fact that they eat goetta and that swill they call chili ought to tell you something.:D

Is there a link...e-mail or # were we can voice our displeasure? You may need to PM me the info.

This would be nice for everyone to have. Is there a rule against posting it for all BGP to see?

Agree, Fieldhouse closer to me though:thumb: What do you think about the 10th and 16 th idea though, rotate between Montgomery,Mason County and Morehead, actually wouldn't bother me to have the whole thing every year at Morehead. Northern Kentucky was always a bad idea, might as well have it in Cincinnati somewhere.

Wasn't there a court case a few years back where a Courier-Journal columnist was live blogging from a NCAA tournament game and was asked to stop, refused, and was made to leave? I believe the court ruled you couldn't ban live blogging?

No reason to get nasty and put down an entire region of the state!!! Get creative, call and email the BOK, have others do the same. I am pretty sure with enough bad PR they will decide to change their minds.

In this age of communication it seems very wrong to restrict broadcasts of the games. This reminds me of Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation where the boss of the company says "It's one of those things that looked good on paper."

We need an Eddie to go kidnap whoever made this decision.

Correct. It was when UL was in the NCAA baseball tourney.

 Very good!

"Save the neck for me, Clark!"

Wow! Who's bright idea was it to have it at BOK facilities anyway? Rotate that around the regions biggest gyms. Yeah the bank is greedy, I dont know the details but sounds like who ever made the decisions for the region was greedy also. Hopefully this will change.

No, I don't have a link to any of the information, but..... you might want to ask around your local radio/internet radio folks, as I am sure they know all about this....

BTW I didn't add this to my first post but again from the information I was given; Insight Communication (local cable company) has inquired about the possibility of showing/broadcasting the Semi-Finals and the Finals of the Ninth and Tenth Region games but they were told it would cost them now get this $10,000.00 yep you read it correctly Ten Thousands Dollars.
