I beg to disagree. Obama is considered divisive by the portion of the far right that loves to be divisive. Judging from his comments, cabinet choices, etc., he is looking to be tolerant, if not inclusive, of different viewpoints.

 

Rush is nothing of the sort and never has been. The man is a blowhard ...

I disagree. Progress, in its most basic definition, means moving forward. You can't move forward if you refuse to move at all.

Rush does not advocate not moving. If he does anything at all he espouses moving the country in a more conservative direction for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week.

I am however curious if the above relationship was a true interest of bi-partisan, why not the same measure of division last year when Bush was President? They could have used the 2004 vote totals that was what 1 or 1.5% difference? Just curious. :thumb:

They need a crew on the plane and they will need ground crew and maintenance staff.

I don't have a real problem with that proposal, but I have real trouble believing that Limbaugh would have been so compromise-minded had McCain won ... he certainly wasn't during the Bush presidency.

Certainly seems that now the Democratic idea of bipartisan cooperation is the Republicans voting how they want them to. Thank goodness for the filibuster. I hope Mitch has the stones to hold his ground.
