You don’t have to try to do what’s best for your people and your party. You know you’re just on these talk shows and you’re living well and plus you stir up a bit of controversy and gin the base and that sort of that thing. But when it comes to true leadership, not that these people couldn’t be or wouldn’t be good leaders, they’re not in that position of John Boehner or Mitch McConnell."

Of course Obama wants people to stop listening to Rush, at least until the liberals ban conservative talk radio. You know one of Hitler's first moves upon seizing power was to make sure every German home had a radio.
February 3, 200917 yr Limbaugh is a "hater" and his program gets all of its steam from creating friction between the two sides. This friction often corrupts what could be better government. Obama is correct that you can't follow the preachings of a antagonistic drug addict and expect to get government running smoothly. Reverand Wright? Can you follow the preachings of an antagonistic racist and still create harmony throughout the United States?
