Actually, Lawrence North is more of a basketball power. Greg Oden and Eric Montross played there and they are usually one of Indiana's top teams.

I love this schedule! Might get beat up early, but by playoff time we will be battle tested.

What doesn't kill you, will only make you stronger. Very comparable to Manual's schedule, relatively speaking.

Scott County pulled out and are not going to scrimmage Trinity.

That's a shame. It's been a good scrimmage for Trinity (and for Scott County).

Losses to Trinity in 2008 = 7

I was earlier wondering if anyone had "ever" had a schedule to match what will be Manual's next season. Now I see one. That should be exciting for the Rocks and fans.

 

P.S. strongopinion- Manual (a KY school) did challenge them in three out of four games in the previous series that ended only two years ago.

I'd be willing to bet they're still better than the teams that have been on the schedule. Indiana football not quite Ohio but it's pretty good in the upper classes.

With Scott dropping out maybe we can scrimmage the winner of next week's game.:lol:

Ths, I think you are correct. My son just got home from lifting and told me the Lawrence North game was a home game. The team is totally pumped about this schedule. Go Rocks!!

This is a baptism for Trinity's young football team next season.

 

What it tells me is Coach Beatty is willing to suffer a couple of potential loses in the regular season to prepare his young squad for another state championship run in December.

 

I admire what they do at Trinity and Bob Beatty is the right man for that job. He is a winner......like him or not!
