Great win for Dixie - 2 questions - Why would Coach Chevalier have sat Pike the last 4 minutes and the acting coach didn't? What was Hatton's contribution to the game? Any stats?

Zeke has really been struggling from the free throw line. Recently, he had went 2 for 12 from the charity stripe. I think this is the reason Chevalier sat him the last few minutes in the Newport game.

I did really like what I saw from the Pike kid. He's only a Frosh???

Coach Kenny C being sick is the reason they won the game. Kenny would have set Pike the last 4 minutes of the game. Rod Snapp design the game winner for Pike.

From what I am hearing from everybody, it sounded like a pretty sloppy game. If Coach C was there it probably wouldn't have been as ugly (on Dixie's part). Its pretty hard winning without the normal Varsity coach. Last time I checked Coach C has coached the team the past two weeks when they beat NCC, Newport, and Scott. I heard that Stanforth coached the game, not Snapp anyways.

I know GT. Was just stating he isn't a true freshman...hence him being much more polished and physically bigger/stronger than most freshmen which allows him to play and contribute at the varsity level.

 

Still a very solid player though, regardless of his age. He had a really good summer on the AAU circuit.

Hatton isn't a true 7th grader either....but.....it is what it is. And they are starting to play well together.

Trammell had a really good game last night. I don't think he came off the floor. Pompilio is a work horse and Raleigh has been playing good defense.

What's your point? He's in the 7th grade therefore he's a 7th grader. Zeke is a freshman whether you like it or not, it's not going to change.:sssh:

I am here to say it does not matter if you are a true 7th grader, a true freshman. check out the rest of the nation and see how many true 7th, 8th, 9th, soph, jr, and sr. I agree but seems like in every thread people want to mention their grade as well. LOL

They are both exceptional talents and they will most likely have exceptional HS careers because of their situations.

If he wasn't a true Freshman he wouldn't be allowed to play he is a first time freshman. when adults take shots at 14-18 year old high school kids they are not acting like adults.
