Does U of L have a little brother complex?

Featured Replies

I'm confused. The CARDS chant is one that's done at every game I've ever been to.

Both have been done for as long as I can remember. Neither stole it from the other.

Now the new UofL thing, the "L Yes" thing or whatever it is called, is maybe the lamest I've ever seen, but that's just me. :D

The UL fans I know do not have a little brother complex.

I don't like UK by any means, but I want them to win every game except when they play UL. Just because I criticize them doesn't mean I root against them. :thumb:

:thumb: Same here except opposite. I am die hard UK and I dont like UL, but it seems like every game they play the tv is on and I watch them. I enjoy watching them more than any team other than UK for some reason, and I always root for them come tournament time.

I'm a UK fan but UL has Kentucky kids on their team so I root for them when they aren't playing UK.

I do think some UL fans may be jealous of the accolades that come along with UK. That's natural. An instate rival has the more historical program. I'd be jealous if the numbers were switched around.

I for one am a little jealous of UL at this point. They're ranked and they're beating ranked teams. Something UK at this point isn't doing.

Both teams are on the rise. I feel UL is the better program currently.

And "The Rock" with Ra-Smooth wasn't? Come on now.

I am a Louisville fan and I say no. However I am not your typical fan.

I hated that.

90 % of the stuff college athletes do embarrass' me

You have to admit. The "L-Yes" is amazingly lame.Someone said hey if we add the middle finger it's nothing like the international sign for loser...

You're blind if you don't think UK fans care about Louisville losing. Either blind, or lying to yourself. Check out a game thread on here when UL wins, then check one out when they lose.
All of my friends and I could give a crap if Louisville loses. If I don't catch the game thread on here I rarely know if they are even playing.

Maybe I'm not blind...maybe, just maybe Louisville fans WANT UK fans to care. :sssh:

I am a Huge UK fan.

I hope Louisville never wins another game.

I was brought up that way and plan on bringing my kids up that way.

Louisville will always be little brother.

I don't know about the "L-Yes" thing, but I don't see a problem with the "L's." Are we supposed to flap our wings like birds?

My son is exactly the opposite.

He hates UK so much, he won't even consider going on campus to see friends. He also won't drive into Lexington unless it's a dire situation.

I love going to Lexington, with my two window flags flying and "The Ville" on my front license plate. :ylsuper:
