Pittsburgh 35 San Diego 24

I actually forgot about the punt hitting the guy's head. I still say that 24 points should be enough to win the ballgame, but they made the Steeler's offense look like the Patriots last season.

I didn't want to make a big deal of it, but they've been steadily improving over the last six weeks. :sssh: :thumb:

My ex wife and I had our picture taken with him. She ruins everything...

I really like him too, but he drove me nuts going too conservative in the red zone and often in big games.

You should sub-let your place to me and other BGP folks for that week (assuming the Steelers make it, of course). I'm too old to party too much ... :D
To be honest, we thought about it. Asking price for week's lease are going from $3000-20,000 depending upon location. I don't know what to do with Dad, though. Too much medical equipment to deal with.

Didn't get to watch any of it after the first series, but looks like I was wrong. From what I've read Rivers had a heck of a game, but the D couldn't stop anyone. Oh well.

The Steelers' defense was outstanding. SD had no rushing attack and they hounded Rivers all night long with their rush. I don't think Baltimore has a chance next week but it is a difficult task to beat a division rival three straight times in one season.

Chargers had a decent first half, but had the coverage breakdown on the punt, too many offensive penalties, and let Big Ben make the long throw to set up the TD juust before the half.

3rd quarter, defense allows the long drive for the TD coming out of the locker room, they get the long return from Sproles, and then on the first play, give up the tipped ball and the non-interception. Huge. Then force the punt, only to have it bounce off the guys head. At that point, you know the football gods aint with you.

By the time its 28-10, you are in hurry up offensive mode. I thought Rivers had a nice fourth quarter, but San Diego had no pass rush and gave too much on the run. All in all, I still think they handled a ferocious pass rush reasonably well.

In the offseason, they need a blue chip right tackle, and at least 2-3 more playmakers at linebacker and defensive line. Getting Merriman back should help, too.

Hope the Steelers move on to play Arizona in the super bowl.

And I hope the Steelers win.

Please God just don't let the Eagles win.

As much as I hate Pitt this would be an interesting match up. Both QB's have SB rings and it would also be the battle of ages, with a 10 year age gap between the two QB's.

The Steelers looked awfully good yesterday. They are letting Big Ben throw down field and that really opened up the running game. Parker looks healthy again.
