As a big time Florida fan was really glad to hear he is coming back. As for him being pro QB or not I only have these two examples. Joe Montana 3rd round draft choice. 4 Super Bowl rings. Tom Brady 6th round draft choice. 3 Super Bowl rings. On the other hand Ryan Leaf second overall pick. Tim Couch first overall pick. Do not know what kind of pro QB Tebow will be but this just goes to show scouts are not always on the money.

He'll get his 3rd national championship and his 2nd heisman. If they win the national title in 2010 - They will have to be considered "greatest college team of all time". Who else can say 3 titles out of 4 years?

Good decision by Tebow. Even though as a UK fan I hate to see him back, .... I think he made the right call. They will be a contender for another national title.

 

What does this say about Meyer? He left the Utah program in excellent shape, had an undefeated team during his tenure as well. Now he already has 2 national titles at UF. What a great job he has done.

I am glad to see him come back. This decision says two things to me; 1. he loves college (the opportunity for a 3rd title and 2nd Heisman doesn't hurt) and 2. he understands he has work to do to be an NFL QB.

 

He'll have every opportunity to do both next year. Obviously UF has all the tools to repeat, and UF's hire of Scott Loeffler as QB coach will help better prepare Tebow for the next level.

Bad news for the SEC, good news in general for College Football fans.

Great news for Florida, bad news for everybody else!

This is a smart move by Tebow. He really is a class young man and is changing the college game with his character. If Harvin and Spikes come back next year, no way Florida doesn't repeat. They return their whole defense, plus two of the best players in college football on offense.

 

I can understand Tebow coming back. HE was projected as a late 3rd, early fourth round draft pick. He WON'T play qb in the NFL unless he goes to a team who regularly implements the wildcat formation. He will likely be an H-back or back up QB, which is a big reason for him coming back to try and improve on the grey areas in his game. (According to NFL Scouts: pass effiency, progressions, arm strength)

 

I look forward to seeing Tebow again next year. Hopefully others in the future will take notice of this kid's character, poise, and passion for the game.

No one I can think of off the top of my head. However Oklahoma won recognized National Titles in '74 and '75 and were also undefeated (once tied) in '73 but were ineligible for a Bowl Game and 10-1 in '72. The Sooners finished #2, #3, #1 and #1 in those four years from '72 to '74.

Well, while its nice to see a player stay all 4 years, I'd prefer it to be someone that does not play for a rival of my favorite team. He is an amazing person and a darn good football player.
