January 3, 200917 yr Great win tonight for the Kats!! Really love the way Coach Brooks and Joker have made the quality Kentucky high school talent a priority in their recruiting efforts. Sure hope Deuce Finch and Jordan Whiting were watching tonight. What a way to cap off recruiting if the Kats could secure these two Louisville stars. Obviously UK needs great running backs and someone to follow in Micah's footsteps. The grit and determination of Brooks' teams is admirable. With the talent coming in next year, UK may reach bigger and better bowls.
January 3, 200917 yr Without saying so specifically, Jarmon seemed to hint in the post game interview that he would be back next year.....I hope so. I think Lindley will go, but I thought the freshman from LaGrange, Randall Burden, filled in nicely in the second half. I'm just glad that Brooks has gotten the program to the point where we are getting players that we have to worry about leaving early for the NFL.....that didn't used to be the case.

January 3, 200917 yr 1. Bob Davie is a worse commentator than HC, that was hard to accomplish. Could he not at least do his HW and pronounce our players names right. 2. I hope Brooks isn't going anywhere for a while. Great PR man and HC, overall just a great coach and his coaching staff he has implemented. 3. Lindley just doesn't deserve all the press he constantly gets over and over, he is good but everyone makes him out to be the face of the team when they talk about UK. He has a lot of work to do and next year at UK he could build his self into a 1st rounder. 4. Can't wait to win 4 straight next year. 5. SEC is tough, who said UK didn't deserve to go bowling, please stand up and eat some crow. CATS CATS CATS!
January 3, 200917 yr Nice to see the qb from Ohio do so well and the refs were spot on in this one. Whatever. If you're spot on you don't have to overturn two calls, and I still feel that Jenkins was down.
January 3, 200917 yr The officials show once again that the Big 10 sucks in bowl games. :lol: The white hat in this game was terrible... I am confident that he will be black balled from future bowl games... The worst part, the white hat didn't even see the first knee touch on the kick-off return and unfortunately, it wasn't reviewed. Congratulations to coach Brooks... what a great effort by Coach Brooks and his entire coaching staff! They made the necessary player changes and that played a major role in the outcome of the game. Hartline was fantastic... stayed in the pocket and took a licking. He may not be finished yet! Go Cats.... #34 you looked great on the sidelines!
January 3, 200917 yr Great way to end a season and build upon recruiting. I didn't like their chances with Cobb out, but once again Brooks and Staff led this program.

January 3, 200917 yr This was huge win for Coach Brooks and for the Kentucky program! I have to admit that I was tempted to turn it off at the half, what a turnaround! The Cats went from playing like they didn't want to be there, much less play to paying to win and making plays they had to. That credit imo gos to Coach Brooks and staff. GO BIG BLUE!!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa Now, lets get back to basketball season and bring the Cats through a succsesful season and tournament run!!
