A private thread in a public forum? If someone wants a thread for a select few and does not want others to repsond then maybe they need to post such a thread in a forum that is open to only those in the group.

 

Everyone also knows that any "Trinity Hater" thread would be locked more than likely before it ever got to the online flame war that it would become. How can any of the teams that made the finals not take the original post as a slap in the the face. To their players, coaching staffs and to some extent their schools and communities.

Anybody that knows anything about football would know that the original post is accurate. Especially if they've seen Trinity play...

 

I don't think most question if the post is accurate. I think the problem is the person that posted and the consistent arrogance that gets old. What others need to realize is...don't post....just ignore.

I don't think that someone posting that their team is better than everyone else's is being arrogant...

I didn't have a chance to see the other teams play, so I can't justifiably comment. Though I will say this, if there was a team, within 300 miles of Papa John's, that could beat us last night, I would be shocked....that's as sharp as I have seen the Rocks in a long long time.

 

Someone asked if our coaches could do the same in a lower class. I would venture to guess they could. But it would take support from the kids, the families, and the school itself. It would take a complete "buying in" from ALL...you know what though? The places in lower classes that have all of the above, WIN...

Trinity..."Walk softly and carry a big stick." Trinity's history of performance speaks for itself. No need to beat up on the little guys. We enjoy our teams just as well.

I will say one thing that is mind blowing....we won our first championship in 1968, and we now have 19....19/41, ain't too shabby.

There are...and we have people leave...but it is way less than 5%...
