December 18, 200817 yr Chzik has an exceptional resume with the obvious exception of Iowa State, but I think Auburn really passed on one of the best young coaches out their, but Turner Gill will be fine. Yeah just forget about his last two seasons as a head coach and especially his last 10 games, which he lost.
December 18, 200817 yr ESPN had three sports reporters from Alabama in an interview Tuesday, and they agreed that this hire would really hurt Auburn in recruiting star athletes, and finacially as well, maybe as much as $50 million in yearly donations. It appears the Auburn officials have made a monumental mistake that will haunt their program for at least the near future, if not longer.

Hopefully, Auburn fans don't have any higher expectations than that.
