He finished his career 33-3, playing in 3 straight national championship games and winning 2 of them. 13-2 in games he started against AP ranked teams. Missed sometime his junior year with blood clots in his legs but made it back for 95 Orange Bowl game against Miami and he lead a second half comeback to win the title. The following year he led probably the best team off all time to an undefeated record and second straight title after going head to head with Danny Wuerffel who is also considered one of the best of all time and routing the gators 62-24. Frazier was a good one. Another good one not on the list that someone already mentioned was J.C. Watts. Another good one not on the list was Art Schlister...he was in that draft that contained Montana, Elway, and Marino. Schlister fell off the chart after his highly publicized gambling problems. Shouldnt Spurrier be on the list. Archie Manning was another good one not on the list!
December 2, 200817 yr Steve "Air" McNair was a monster in college. I know it was 1-AA, but he was unstopable. How many 1-AA guys finished as a finalist for the Heisman?
December 2, 200817 yr One of my favorites is Tom Clements from ND.As did I. I always thought #2, was consistent and versatile. On the subject of Notre Dame QB's, I also liked Blair Kiel.

I was thinking Frazier as well. He had a pretty good cast around him at that time. Nebraska and Fla. St. used to be so dominant.

John Elway never went to a bowl game during his four years on the Farm in Palo Alto. A quarterback who never led his team to a bowl game is not deserving of the best college quarterback of all-time.

December 3, 200817 yr I was thinking Frazier as well. He had a pretty good cast around him at that time. Nebraska and Fla. St. used to be so dominant. I like Frazier, but he was on a team( not sure which year ), that averaged near 500 yards rushing per game. That is sick. I am sure he didn't have to throw much.
