December 1, 200817 yr I believe that UK will be in Memphis. I know that the money factor does play a role but im sure that matchups do too. They know UK probably cant beat the ACC rep. I think UK could absolutely beat the ACC rep. I just think that UK will be in Memphis as the MB bowl is a bigger bowl and Vandy deserves the bigger bowl bid after beating UK head to head this year. Plus, while they may not get the tourism dollars, they should have a sellout. If this comes to pass, this would be the only MB bowl sold out which UK didn't play in.

Im not sure that our Offense can muster more than 10 points and that might not even be enough to beat a C-USA team. Plus Cobb's status is in question as Gametime has reported in another thread
December 2, 200817 yr Not to be mean, but they were an onside kick away from causing all sorts of trouble for your #1 ranked Alabam team. Moral Victories...the story of Kentucky football. :thumb:
December 2, 200817 yr As long as Kentucky gets into a bowl I'll be happy. They should get the Music City or Liberty Bowl though.

December 2, 200817 yr Not to be mean, but we are #1 in the nation. We win saturday we go to the NC, we lose we go to the sugar. We lose one player on our defense. Last year we were 7-6, and lost to ULM. I'm trying to be nice with you people and talk without trashing. Momma asked me to ban myself and not post this week. Thinking about it. :sssh: Edited December 2, 200817 yr by Alabama Larry watching myself

Give me a break, Bama hasn't lost and UK is headed to the Music City Bowl at best. At worse Bama is headed to a BCS game!

Make checks payable to: Nick Saban C/O University of Alabama Fund To Pay Coach's Ungodly Salary Box 2009 Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35487 For the record I really, really respect Alabama and would leave to see them win the NC.

December 2, 200817 yr Moral Victories...the story of Kentucky football. :thumb: Brooks is not happy with moral victories. However, they have had some high quality wins in his tenure (UGA & LSU come to mind). How great is it that nobody, especially the coaches and players, are happy with a 6-6 record at UK? When Mumme did that, most were singing his praises. Usually, UK could expect a losing season after the occasional bowl game. Before the season started most were predicting anywhere from 4 to 7 wins. Had any of us known we would lose Lyons and Locke, nobody would have predicted 6-6.

What the BCS could fear most is Florida blows out Bama, Missouri beats Oklahoma. We get a third place conference team, Texas, in the national title game...
