December 1, 200817 yr UK to Music City, Nashville wants tourism dollars, if they keep Vandy they get zero tourism dollars from the SEC team. UK fans have spent money in masses over the past two bowls and the Music City will gladly welcome them back. Plus Memphis will be close enough Vandy fans can travel their and spend their money.

Or it shows that A) Money doesnt play as big a role as everyone thinks. B) There is a large gap between MCB and the Liberty. Vandy won head to head so maybe they deserve to the better bowl bid.

Unfortunately for the Irish, the Big East doesn't have a huge number of bowls and they will have enough eligible. I'm guessing Notre Dame declines any bid that comes their way.
