November 22, 200817 yr Author At least it's something to build on. You're right. It's a much better result than the first two games. I was just trying to put things in perspective before some people got too carried away after this game like UK fans have been known to do in the past.
November 22, 200817 yr Meeks, Porter, Liggens, Stevenson, Miller, Harris, Patterson. It looks like BCG is going to play basicly 7 players this year. I don't think Harrrelson, Galloway, Stewart, Carter, or anyone else will get much PT. It appears that way so far anyway. Harrelson is too slow and doesn't run the floor very well. Galloway appears lost. Carter has never played much and that won't change this year. I have heard that BCG and Stewart have their differences, ups and downs.
November 22, 200817 yr This team, is a work in progress and games like this will help. UK has seen a press (VMI), man to man (UNC) and zone/other today (DS). Eliminating TO's and finding consistent PG play, will take longer than we/most expected but it will happen. This team will have to limit second chance points and do a better job, switching on defense. Hit the boards, box out and several aspects of this team, will look much improved.

That is the one thing that made me so aggrevated when watching this team on Tuesday against UNC. I felt like they gave up so many offensive rebounds. Made me sick to my stomach.

Made me sick to my stomach.UK will improve and get better PG play, but like you I see a big problem with rebounding on this team. Patterson can't put a body on and box out, on the weak side and Stevenson is a little frail, to bang bodies. Harris, Stewart, Miller or whomever is going to have to get more physical, as this teams gets better.
