With Quainoo still not 100% i dont think Boones offense can keep up and score with SK. I know Boones D is good but they showed against Henry Clay that they have a hard time scoring without Quainoo.

Just curious but what are you basing this on? I mean, I could possibly see Lex. La. having overlooked them, but they were not a very good team this year. Surely you don't think Conner overlooked a team that they had to score 2 td's in under 2 minutes to beat the first time do you? The Boone fans aren't underestimating SK, they are giving the reasons they feel Boone will win, and for the most part they are legitimate reasons.

I will, I've tried to the past couple games and had stupid stuff come up. But no excuses this week these guys have done something special in making it this far and I want to be there to support them. Unless there is some sort of disaster or family emergency, then I'm there.

Conner does not play defense anywhere near the level of Boone Co. Conner did not underestimate SK. They could not stop the Freight Train.

 

Simpson shredded Campbell County's Defense, which is as good if not better than BC. Simpson will do fine and Boone will have their hands full. I predict that they will stack the box. When BC does that, what will SK be able to do to get BC honest?

I would have to disagree with you here. I think Boone defense is one of the best in all of Northern Kentucky. CC defense was good but I don't think they are as good as BC. BC gave up 14 points a game in the reg season CC gave up 20.6! Not a big difference.

 

I'm pretty sure the last time these two teams matched up you said the same thing about Simpson running all over BC.

Nope, not until Simpson wen't wild, after the Boone Co. game. But more importantly got lots and lots of help from a resurgent Defense and a QB change.

 

As for the PPG difference between Boone and CC, you can't hide the fact that CC gave up 51 points in their last game, after they played with virtually their entire starting D on the sidelines. Take that game out of the mix and CC only gave up 15 per game.

You're not getting what I'm saying, look back to 05. Every year since on a day when they haven't had school that Friday it's been a blowout loss for whatever reason.

 

05- Ryle Blow out can't remember the score, only blow out of regular season

06-Ryle 46- 13. Only blow out of regular season

07- Conner 30-3 or so

08- Boone 42-7 Only blow out of season, well NCC and they didn't have school that day either..

 

Maybe it's the coaches, lets hope they can change my mind friday..

 

I see what you're saying about the history of Simon Kenton on game days with no school. And I dont see this being different, I would love to see SK pull it out, however the prior meeting was to much of a one sided affair in my eyes to pick SK in an upset.
