If it is as cold as this game, I give SK a very good chance because Simpson will be able to break loose.

I don't follow that logic.

Dont expect the same result like the first meeting. SK is rolling right now and I dont see Boones D stopping Mr. Simpson. Look for Sk to keep rolling into the semi's.

SK 21

Boone 14

Apparently Boone didn't shut him out earlier this season?

SK is still just too one-dimensional to advance too far. Granted that "one dimension" is pretty darn impressive, but they won't find nearly as much success running against Boone as they did against Conner. SK's defense wasn't particularly impressive against Conner and I think Boone will also score fairly easily, though not like Conner did. I think Boone wins 28-12 (the 12 being because I don't think SK can make an extra point).

You have to love a Boone Co. fan saying a team is too one dimensional to advance very far. I think defense wins championships and Boone has the better defense. The key will be keeping Simpson from making the big plays. If they control that, Boone wins by a couple of TD's.

I'm a huge Boone Co. fan and I know you can't win a championship being one dimensional but you can have a long run in the playoffs. I also agree that Boone's defense is the reason they should win this week.

I'm going with the underdog. SK by 10.

SK did struggle against Conner offense, but Boone's defense is the complete opposite. I think it comes down to who's the most physical up front. Boone dominated in every facet of the first game, it was over after the first interception. SK will have to play better up front, on both sides to have any shot. Boone is still a huge favorite in my eyes, but I honestly think it will be a much better game this time around.

Will the winner of this game have to travel or will one of the other teams come to Northern Ky?

Colerain has won a title in OHIO and they are one dimensional.

Yeah well.... The run the option which is bye far more lethal than buck right and buck left!

I can't make heads or tails of the KHSAA site as far as the 4th round homefield would be awarded.

I'd like Simon Kenton to pull this one out, but I have a feeling Boone will.

Boone Co. 21-14.

Well first off, I'm neither a Boone County nor a Simon Kenton fan, though I'll certainly root for whichever of these teams advance to the final four and hopefully down state. But there's a big difference being a one-dimensional team going up against Boone's defense and a one-dimensional team going up against SK's defense.

The state is divided up into four regions, regions 1, 2, 3, and 4.

NKY 6A is District 6, Region 3.

4th round is game site is determined by what year it is.

Games site are determined by year, odd or even. This year, 2008, being even, the site for round four will be at Region's 2 and 4's home field.

For example, Boone and SK are in Region 3 an odd number,so the winner will play at the winner of Scott County and Male, who are in Region 4.

With Quainoo still not 100% i dont think Boones offense can keep up and score with SK. I know Boones D is good but they showed against Henry Clay that they have a hard time scoring without Quainoo.
