With Quainoo still not 100% i dont think Boones offense can keep up and score with SK. I know Boones D is good but they showed against Henry Clay that they have a hard time scoring without Quainoo.

 

Boone moved the ball on HC defense, which is probably one of the top 5 in the state. Sk defense is not HC. Boone can throw the ball now, proved it Friday night when the game was on the line. I look for Boones offense to move the ball. DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE, Boone has the edge in this one.

I think this game will be completely different than their first meeting. I like SK despite some defensive break downs last week.

Have you not seen Oppenheimer? he is bigger just not as quick as Quainoo! HC defense is built to stop the run and that's why they struggled against them. Everyone said they would stuff the run and thats what they did. In games since Q went out Boone has scored 16 against a very good Madison Central team and 48 Against a weak Paul Dunbar. and then scored 9 against HC the second time around.

 

What does Boone's D have to do with our offense scoring? I think SK offense is going to have a hard time scoring on Boone.

 

It's going to be one heck of a game and unlike this last Friday night's game looks like i have to get there early!

The state is divided up into four regions, regions 1, 2, 3, and 4.

NKY 6A is District 6, Region 3.

 

4th round is game site is determined by what year it is.

Games site are determined by year, odd or even. This year, 2008, being even, the site for round four will be at Region's 2 and 4's home field.

 

For example, Boone and SK are in Region 3 an odd number,so the winner will play at the winner of Scott County and Male, who are in Region 4.

 

I just got confused after viewing the KHSAA scoreboard, all four teams are listed as Region one, thanks for the explanation.:thumb:

If SK has a strenght on defense it's against the run. Giving up a little over 100/game on the ground, and close to 200 yards passing against. West torched them for over 700 yards passing, so the numbers he produced did inflate their passing defense numbers.

I'd like Simon Kenton to pull this one out, but I have a feeling Boone will.

Can Boone handle Simpson?

They handled him the first go around, I think he will break the 30 yard mark this time around.

I know Boone really stuck it to SK in the regular season but they have finally started running on all 8 cylinders. Coach M and his staff have done a great job getting these kids ready for this and I really feel that boone will have a hard time stopping them. It will be a close game but SK will prevail and continue on th eroad to the championship game in Louisville. Good luck to the Pioneers and congrats on a great record breaking season.

I see, and from what I have read Simpson has been doing fantastic. I can see SK coming out on top on this one, I'm hoping they will.

Both play similar styles and rely on the run. I will be very surprised if SK wins.

Interesting, but would one associate SK not going to school with getting blown out? Most schools around the state are out of school on Friday. Based on this philosophy, all schools that are off who play schools that are in will get blown out? I wonder if St. X & Highlands have school Friday???
