I hear the Welch kid from JC is very good and very athletic. Someone told me last night after watching him that the kid will match up quite well with HHS receivers. Should be fun.

I want to say I met several people from Ashland last night and collectively it was one of the friendliest groups of people I have ever met. I really enjoyed myself last night.

I always get a kick out of seeing the kids of friends you went to school with out there from 20 -30 years ago. Some look and play like their dads others your like where did that body come from??? By the way, all the Rollers I remember were 5'8 to 5'11" fire hydrant builds, mean as snakes , and liked to run into anything that moves. Then I see Brandon at about 6'2'' about 210# and runs like a deer.(still mean and likes to hit things) and wonder where does that come from?

Sometimes I wonder if Dale has a degree in genetic enginnering and spends his time in the bowels of the locker room trying to build the bigger faster bird.

Just want to let the Tomcats, particularly the seniors, know how proud a lot of us are. Before the season began, they were predicted to have a probable losing season. We not only had a winning season but ended up playing the #1 team in the state in 5A in the 2nd round of the playoffs! Nothing to hang your head about guys! We had a great senior class with a lot of spirit and leadership and they will be very much missed! I've watched a lot of these kids play since 4th grade and it's been a great ride! Thanks you guys for letting some of us ride along on this journey!!!:thumb:
