HC is simply too big upfront to win by exclusively running the ball (be it by one back or two). Boone will have to throw to beat them and I think they'll have trouble doing that. HC's defense is very impressive.

Oppenheimer splits with Quainoo..... I agree with everyone when they say they are going to have to do more than run on HC.... I hope we do something different than last time Boone was just hard to watch that night!

This will be a huge battle. Boone must throw successfully to win the game. It will be a cold night so perhaps the Rebels are working on some short pass plays. I just don't see them connecting down field on longer pass plays. I look for a game decided late that could be determined by a kicking gaffe. HC's kicking game is shaky and that might be the edge that Boone needs. Always pulling for the NKY teams. Go Rebels!

I find it interesting that it is more than 3 to 1 in favor of Boone in this thread but close to even in the King of the Carpet Pick 10 thread.

The first game was close, and Quainoo didn't play the full 48 minutes. I expect that he has to be close to 100% and I believe it pays off this time for the Rebs.

I was about to post the same comment. The wide spread in favor of Boone in the poll is interesting considering this is a very close matchup and Boone lost the first meeting. I guess Boone has more fans on here than HC.

I am not sure Henry Clay has many fans. Little or no support as far as attendance to the games. I am sure not many follow high school football closely. The Blue Devils are now 6-4 and on a six game winning streak, but their followers don't seem to care. I guess this is a down year for the Blue Devils, but they have a legit shot at making it all the way to the state finals.

What I saw was they came out running between the tackles against a gap defense and they stayed with running between the tackles against a 8 and 9 man front. I saw it having nothing to do with being flat.
