If some of you people really believe he will spend more time worrying about college football than the real issues then I think you have something to worry about yourself. That's exactly what I thought after the MNF football interview. However last night's came off with a different feel. I even looked at my wife and commented, "maybe he's not kidding around". I really don't care one way or the other. the whole thing is pretty stupid.

November 17, 200817 yr You all are wackadoo. It was a joke. It was in the part of the interview that was lighthearted. It was not a joke. This is the only time I've actually seen him say it in an interview, but not the only time I've heard him reference it. I don't know that anything will come from it, but I don't think he was joking. I voted for McCain, but was very impressed with the interview last night. Both Barack & Michelle did very well.

November 17, 200817 yr From the way he explained it, he thinks with the playoff system, you could use the final 8 teams in the BCS and have them play their regular bowl games but just add 2 more games to decide a national champ. It would add 3 more weeks and you could shorten the regular season. It would allow a true national champion to be crowned since all of the 1 loss teams usually have legitimate arguments for playing in the NC. This way it's decided on the field and not by computers or fans votes. That's funny!!! I wonder who told him what to say and how to say it. This is going to be an interesting 4 years.:rolleyes:

November 18, 200817 yr Anyone else see on there tonight where he said he plans on "throwing his weight around" to have an 8 team playoff put in to place in the future? Tonight's the first time in a long time that I wish the show was called "15 Minutes":thumb:
