What can I say, I love sparring.

Greenup County had the advantage last year of the KHSAA messing up the playoff system. They had to play two teams from their weak district to get a cake walk to the region. Not this year. District 7 is back in town.

I have to give Rockcastle the advantage in this one.

My point is, it doesnt really matter about records or past play off records. GC proved that last year. All it takes is for a team to get on a roll.

 

True, but at this point in the season, Greenup hasn't shown that they can be consistent enough against quality opponents to make the kind of run in the playoffs that they made last year.

I can't help but believe that we will see a repeat of last years performance. I pick my beloved Muskies in a close one.

I know that lots are saying we don't deserve to be here,and even more are saying we don't have a chance.But I believe anything is possible and maybe just maybe this could be the day for GC. Boys if you are reading this thread stay focused and BELIEVE who knows what might happen. I will be there watching and cheering you on no matter the out come. GO MUSKIES!!!!!:thumb:

I do know this...if Greenup County wins...it won't be because Rockcastle overlooked them. The excellent coaching staff at Rock would never allow that. I'm sure that Greenup has had Rock's full and undivided attention since the playoffs were set a little over two weeks ago. This game will be taken as seriously as if it were a close rivalry game because it is one and done. The seniors are chomping at the bit, and the practices have been intense according several players. It will be an interesting game...best wishes to Greenup and GOOD LUCK ROCK!!
