They run the ball and sometimes pass the ball. They try to score when they can......:lol:

This game depends on the run game. If Greenup can stop the run on defense and get the run going on offense, they win.

Thanks to you too doc! Generally, Ram has it nailed down. Rock runs till it's stopped. Their defense is the lynchpin of the team. Until the Whitley County game they were one of the top teams in the state about stopping the run. This is even after playing against and losing to Bell. Whitley broke a few plays and I don't know where they (Rockcastle defense) stand now. Whitley had at least four players that ran a sub 4.7 40 yard dash from what I understood. They were very good and we all know that speed kills.

I didn't think they were running much of the 3 back set this year?? Or at least what I have saw of them they have had Hayes and a FB Saylor (maybe??) only in the backfield?

:laugh: Next year it will probably be Rowe right, Rowe left and Rowe up the middle. We'll see. The offensive unit will sorely miss Hayes who is a bull when carrying the ball. He runs downhill and doesn't stop until somebody or some bodies stop him. An arm tackle won't do much to slow him.

Thanks guys, GC runs "The System" and have lined up in the "I" a little this year.

Well, practice is done, and it is time to get things in order. We have all said IF you get on a roll, it can be like last year. Time to start or it's one and done. Seniors, are you ready for it to be over? Have pride and play like you are never putting the pads on again. If you give it everything on every play, win or lose, you have no excuses. Go out there and play half speed, trust me, you and everbody else will remember how you played.

 

Play with PRIDE and play with a strut in your step and protect your turf. DO NOT LET "THE ROCK" COME IN AND TAKE YOUR HOME ADVANTAGE AWAY. You earned it and now you have to defend it.

OK seniors this is it, I have either coached or watched you guys since 2nd grade, I have taught you some things that have helped you in football and in life. ( I have also taught you guys some things I shouldnt have.LOL) It is now time to take everything you have learned and put it all together. This is your time. This could be the last time you ever come together in a huddle, the last time you feel the pads crack. Trust me all of us "has beens" would give anything to be in your shoes on Friday. I have watched you guys go from boys to men. Now it is time to play like men. It is now time to leave it all out there on the field, dont look back 10 years from now and wish you had. I'm proud of you guys and will be win or lose Friday night. "JB" time to shine, they are going to come right up the middle to you, make it hurt."E" play within yourself, let the guys around you make the plays they can, and you in turn make the ones you can. That is what a great leader does, and this team needs you to be that leader. "Weapon" keep being you, yards after the catch could be huge Friday. "DB" its time to show everybody, what I have known since you were in 3rd grade. Play like I know you can every play and carry this team on your back like I have seen you do before. Love you guys. Play like Champions.....Go Muskies.
