Just another note to keep you focused. If you can go 10-0 and be the only area undefeated team, one of only 6 in the entire state and can't get any local respect, you better go earn all you can get on your own! There has never been and probably never will be respect for us 1A boys in this area. Rams, go out and smack the opponent in the mouth on every play against every opponent for the next 5 weeks and we'll see if the 'Wizard's of The Independent's Sports Department' change their minds. Hard to believe the soon to be named #1 team in 1A can't get a break in our own area. Truly sad!

I guess we are the Rodney Dangerfield of High School football in NEKY! No Respect!!!!! You guys better come out focused and TCB, because if not, you make these sports desk jockeys correct and that just burns me up! There is nothing more upsetting to me than to stay focused and defeat every opponent and then have the main local newspaper slap you in the face! That makes me want this more and more. I agree doc! It burns me up as well! Because you know if a certain other team went 10-0 playing the same schedule as us it'd be a diff story. Raceland didn't hardly get any respect the last time they went 10-0 either. It's been:jump: that way as long as I can remember! Of course it's not as bad as a few years ago when there was an ex ram picking against us in the paper! Talk about a slap in the face.

We will be ready. The job has been layed out on the table, now its time to get it done. Bring your Lunch Buckets and go to work. Payday will be Friday. Don't be late. Make the Ram family proud boys. Well, it's Tuesday and by now you have heard the AP has you ranked #1. Who cares! 32 1A teams are vying for that trophy in Louisville on December 12, 2008. The team that wins that game is the true #1 team, can that be you? Practice hard, lift hard and play like a pit bull on every play for the next 5 weeks and it could be. Let up just one play, and you'll have to miss school to sit in the stands to see who the #1 team is. My messege is repetative, but is so, so true...........

Thanks, I think. It just puts a bigger bulls eye on us. Everyone plays tougher when they have to play #1. As I posted earlier, the true #1 will be the winner at Papa John's on December 12, 2008.
